The Touch-A-Truck event will return to the Camp Verde Sports Complex for its second year on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Feb. 10.
Last year’s event had over 45 vehicles on display and saw over 2,500 attendees.
The event is aimed at children and will showcase different types of vehicles, such as public service, emergency, farming, utility, recreational, military, construction, transportation, delivery, antique and novelty vehicles.
The event will provide an opportunity for kids to learn about the different jobs associated with the trucks, the people who operate them and the purpose they serve in the community.
There will be a live demonstration area and viewing area from the bleachers, plus a kids’ activity play area with a sandbox featuring toy construction vehicles.
Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided by the Kiwanis Club of Camp Verde. There will be giveaways by Camp Verde Parks and Recreation and exhibitors and an on-site broadcast by Yavapai Broadcasting.
The Camp Verde Sports Complex is located at 990 Champion Trail.
