Gov. Jan Brewer has vetoed two bills that would have changed rules governing how concealed weapons would have been treated in cities and towns.
Camp Verde Town Manager Russ Martin gave the Town Council an update last week about particular legislation that could have a potential effect within Camp Verde.

The update was based on a report from the League of Arizona Cities and Towns.

The league is a group comprised of representatives from municipalities across the state that works to further the interests of local Arizona governments at the state and federal level.

“Concealed weapons are still an issue,” Martin said.
