Cornville light show delights through end of year

It’s a tradition for many people to drive around during the holiday season admiring lights and decorations people put up. Undoubtedly one of the most impressive displays in the Verde Valley, and possibly all of Arizona, is located right in Cornville. The display is put on by Dave Kessel of Yavapai Broadcasting, uses over four miles of cords and lighting and is set to music, which can be dialed in on a car’s radio.

It’s almost Christmas, and there’s still time to see one of the Verde Valley’s tucked away holiday treasures to get into the holiday spirit.

The Kessel house in Cornville has been hosting its annual light show since the holiday season began, delighting those who come out to an excellent display of choreographed blinking lights and music.

It’s still running through the end of the month, with two shows a night with the last viewing on New Year’s Eve. The shows start at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting, of course.
