Jeep knocks over cafe pillar

On Tuesday, April 5, at approximately 2 p.m., a Jeep SUV crashed into one of the support pillars of Jerona Café’s front patio in Cottonwood.

 

 

The driver had been having trouble getting the vehicle started, according to employees, but upon ignition the vehicle drive backwards into the pillar.

The font pillar was side swiped in the accident, but not dislodged.

No one was hurt in the incident, and safety inspectors have approved the business to stay open, with the patio taped off. The patio roof is currently braced until the repair is made.
