Cheryl Lynn Post, of Cottonwood, died Feb. 28.
She worked in emergency rooms in Texas and Oklahoma as a nurse before returning to Arizona, where she worked at the Verde Valley Medical Center for 30 years in the emergency room and later as a director. She enjoyed flying single-engine airplanes, researching family genealogies traveling and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Post; sons, Alan Post and Craig [Kristin] Post; three grandchildren; brother, Doug; and sister, Tanna.

Jo Page has worked at Larson newspapers as typesetter since 2010. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
