Edward Maez, Jr., of the Verde Valley, died Feb. 7.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was an engineer who retired from the city and county of Denver after 40 years of service. He became a licensed pilot and paralegal.
He is survived by his three brothers; six sisters; children, Marvenus, Maydell, Erica, Michael and David; and many family, friends and loved ones.
