On Friday evening, May 2, the Cottonwood Police Department will be conducting a DUI check point in the 800 block of E. State Route 89A in Cottonwood.
Officers and deputies from the Verde Valley DUI Task Force and the Tri City DUI Task Force will be participating. Officers will be looking for drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs.
Funding for the task force is provided by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The Cottonwood Police Department would like to remind drivers to drive safe and make responsible decisions.
