Michael Angelo Amadei

Michael Angelo Amadei, 70, of Sedona, died Oct. 19.
After graduation from La Salle University, he pursued a medical degree at West Virginia University. He moved to Tucson for a medical residency, specializing in internal medicine. After working in private practice and Indian Health Service, he began a practice in Sedona in 1998, and also served as medical director for hospice programs.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, and children Emily and Michael Jr.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Verde Valley School.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
