Byron ‘Bud’ Ellsworth Monteith Jr.
December 29, 1938 – February 3, 2022

Byron “Bud” Ellsworth Monteith Jr. died Feb. 3.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for the Arizona State Highway Department, and later became a journeyman union carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita and grandson Michael A. Gaunt Jr.

He is survived by his wife Jane; daughters Tina Meckem and Terri [Mike] Gaunt Parsons; two sisters; three stepsons; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to a local animal shelter are suggested.
