Marjorie Lu Reuten, 88, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 29.

Upon retiring to Sedona in 1996, she was active in her church, international travel, service to the elderly, animal welfare and other causes. She was a member of Red Rockin’ Grannies and Sedona Singles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother and daughter, Elizabeth Reuten.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Kessler of Flagstaff; granddaughters Charlotte Kessler of Gilbert and Lilah Kessler of Tucson; sister-in-law; niece and three nephews.
