Prentiss Ewell McCollum, 73, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 22.
A Cottonwood resident for over 30 years, he cared deeply about his Christian faith and attended church services whenever he could. He had a very kind heart, maintained compassion for those around him, and was always ready to help friends in need.
He is survived by his brother, sister-in-law, two nephews and a niece.
In lieu of donations, he would have liked for his friends and loved ones to appreciate what life has to offer, and be kind to one another.
