He was born on April 21, 1942, and raised in Bakersfield, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce.
He is survived by his wife, Karla; children Sean, Rachel, Jeremiah, Maura, Fabio and Carlos; and more than 12 grandchildren.
