Kathryn Jean Boreham, 82, of Cottonwood, died Feb. 28.

She lived in Panama for 32 years while her husband worked for the Panama Canal Commission. They retired to Cottonwood in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Lawrence Huestis.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Melvin M. Boreham, sister-in-law Bonnie Huestis, and nieces Elaine Issac and Sharon Huestis.

No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s research or a local hospice are suggested.
