ADOT to restrict SR 260 east of Camp Verde

Published:

The Arizona Department of Transportation will close lanes on a 16-mile segment of State Route 260 beginning seven miles east of Camp Verde from Monday, April 25, through Wednesday, April 27, as maintenance crews apply rejuvenating oil to protect and preserve the pavement.

Crews will work on six miles of the highway each day and apply the oil to both sides of the roadway.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane through the six mile work zone. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic in alternating directions using the single lane that is open.

The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph throughout project work area and drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
