Allen “Buddy” Newton Brown Jr., 71, of Clarkdale, died at home on July 28. He was born in Amory, Mississippi, on Oct. 22, 1954 to Allen N. Brown Sr. and Marnee Brown [nee Alexander].
Brown is survived by his daughter, Lauren Brown, of Baltimore; sister, Kathleen Brown Nicholas [m. Stanley M. Nicholas] of Cullowhee, North Carolina; brother, Dan T. Brown, of Denton, North Carolina; and sister L. Karen Brown, of Greensboro, North Carolina; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
