Henry Melody, of Clarkdale, born in Escanaba, Michigan, to Helen and Henry Melody, died March 27.
Melody is survived by his wife, Sybil Malinowski; sisters-in-law, Toni Thompson and Constance Malinowski; brothers-in-law Warren Bliss, Walter [Gail], Frank [Susan]and Ed [Sharon] Malinowski; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and two great-great nieces.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald Melody; and sister, Lynn [Melody] Bliss.
A Chicago area celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11. Two Arizona celebrations of life will be held: The first on Sunday, May 10, 2 to 6 p.m. at Spook Hall, 250 Hull Ave., in Jerome; and the second at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley, 100 Meadowlark Drive, in Sedona, on Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. Donations may be made in Melody’s memory to the Jerome Humane Society or the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley.
