Joseph Mongini, 86, a lifelong resident of the Verde Valley, died on Feb. 6. He was born on Aug. 15, 1943, to his parents, Adolph and Sally Mongini.
He is survived by his spouse, Merry Mongini; children, Melissa Franklin [Shane], Jami Prentice [Larry] and Joey Mongini [Missy]; grandchildren, Paetyn Ware [Elijah], Paxton Prentice and Paris Prentice; sister, Bobby Peterson [Bill].
Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for any donations be made to the “Food For the Poor” organization.
