Verde Valley Voices set winter concerts

The Verde Valley Voices’ annual Winter Concert “A Classic American Christmas” takes place on Sunday, Dec. 7, 3 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood.

This year, the pre-concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the return of the Bella Voce and the Notables Ensembles, and featuring the community handbell group, the Verde Valley Ringers.

Make plans to arrive early as the sanctuary fills up quickly. Audiences won’t want to miss any of the wonderful, holiday music. Come celebrate with us for a fun, family-friendly tradition.

Tickets for this popular event are $ 12 in advance for adults, $15 at the door, and free for chil­dren 12 and under. Advance tickets are available at the Immaculate Conception Church Office and Gift Shop, Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce, Mount Hope Foods, Quilter’s Quarters in Cottonwood, and from Choir members. On. Friday, Dec. 12, the Voices will join the audience in a Community Carol Singalong at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 330 Scenic Drive in Clarkdale, from 7 to 8 p.m. It’s free, and donations will be accepted for local kids’ weekend food projects. All are welcome, so bring the family and come sing.
