The Old Town Association is pleased to announce that the winner of the Old Town Association Scholarship Program for 2024 is Airam Hurtado-Castro, a recent Mingus Union High School graduate. She will receive a $500 scholarship award to be put towards her college education expenses.

Hurtado-Castro plans to study medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson and wants to become an anesthesiologist.

“We wish her success in all her future endeavors,” the OTA stated. The Old Town Association would also like to thank all those who expressed an interest and applied. OTA staff encourage those who did not win but remain eligible to apply again next year.
