Hubert Bluford “Boots” Claunts, 104, of Sedona, died May 13 in Prescott.
A well-known Sedona golfer, he was born in Warner, Okla., graduated from Stigler, Okla., high school in 1936 and married Jackie Riley Claunts on Feb. 14, 1942. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Prior to retiring in Sedona in 1991, he was a banker and insurance agent in Casa Grande.
