Zana Renae Dirksen, 76, of Clarkdale, died April 29.
She and her husband served as Baptist medical missionaries, arriving in Zaire, Africa in 1981. She was a generous hostess, creative, adventurous, and loved to laugh.
She is survived by her husband Philip and children, Peter Dirksen and Andrea Lish.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 18 at 1 p.m. followed by a dessert reception and sharing of memories at Verde Community Church in Cottonwood. Memorial donations are suggested to Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons in Dallas, Texas.
