A man has been discovered deceased in the Black Bridge area of Camp Verde.
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Camp Verde Marshal’s Office deputies responded to the area of the 300 block of Montezuma Castle Highway, known as Black Bridge, for a report of a possible deceased male under the bridge near the water’s edge, according to the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office.
Upon arrival, Deputies and Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority personnel confirmed the male to be deceased. The man has been identified as 30-year-old Jacob Michael Kutsch of Camp Verde.
A thorough investigation is currently being conducted by CVMO detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, no final ruling has been determined as to the manner or cause of death.
There is no immediate hazard or threat to the community. More information will be released as it becomes available.
