Plan for daytime lane closures on State Route 89A near the town of Jerome scheduled for April 13-15

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 89A near the town of Jerome while vegetation removal is underway.

The following restrictions will occur from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 through Thursday, April 15:

  • SR 89A will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Forest Service Road 151 (milepost 332) and near Forest Service Road 104 (milepost 336).
  • Flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while vegetation removal is underway.
