Collision causes rollover crash on State Route 89A in Cottonwood

Cottonwood police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East State Route 89A for a report of a rollover collision at 9 a.m., Friday, April 2. Police found both vehicles were traveling westbound on East State Route 89A when the lead vehicle attempted to turn into a private business in the area, according to CPD Sgt. Chad Sinn.

The other vehicle collided with the rear end of this vehicle creating it to spin out and roll over in the parking lot of the private business, Sinn stated.

One of the occupants in the vehicle which rolled over was transported to the Verde Valley Medical Center for precautionary measures.
