Dion Elizabeth Lapham

Dion Elizabeth Lapham, 68, of Sedona, died April 29.
After working as a medical technologist and paralegal, she retired to Sedona in 2006. Dedicated to animal care causes, she was a long-time volunteer with Best Friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David Brentz.
She is survived by her husband, Brent Bitz; son, Warren [Jennifer Thomas]; grandson; sister; friends and in-laws.
A private memorial will be held in the Chicago area at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Best Friends Animal Society.
