On Sunday March 15th at approximately 09:05 A.M., Camp Verde Marshal’s Office Deputies responded to the area of E Skyline Dr and Citrus Way for a report of a possible deceased female on the riverbed of West Clear Creek.
Upon arrival, Deputies and Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority personnel confirmed the female to be deceased. The woman has been identified as Kimberly Joy Vargo of Camp Verde. A thorough investigation is currently being conducted by CVMO Detectives, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Investigators from the Yavapai County Attorneys and Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, foul play does not appear to be a factor in the female’s death. More information will be release as it becomes available.
