Mary Elizabeth Skene, of Sedona, died Sept. 22.
A lifetime prolific poet, she began writing sacred poems at the request of her Spiritual Master in Mumbai, India, to help his disciples better ‘understand’ his teachings. She was successful and over the years wrote hundreds of his poems. A bright light in a dark world, she loved one and all.
She is survived by her son, Gordon, of Los Angles, Calif.
