The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Arizona Department of Public Safety and other local agencies in the search for a homicide suspect from an incident in the Prescott area.
The search area is currently in a remote area northeast of Rimrock in the Montezuma Well area.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black or blue shirt, black shorts and possibly black gloves. He is considered armed and dangerous.
No photo nor name of the suspect has been provided.

For residents and motorists in this area please do not approach suspect. Do not pick up hitchhikers. Call 911 if you see a suspect matching this description.
Please stay out of the area.
Note, the cadre of YCSO units driving with lights and sirens in local communities are Special Weapons and Tactics reams. They will become part of the search effort.
A Code Red, emergency notification, has been issued for the general search area.
