Camp Verde High School baseball senior Easton Braden recently signed to continue playing at Presentation College.

Braden, a First Team All-Central Region selection this season and Second Team pick as a junior, helped anchor a Cowboys defense from the catcher’s position with a fielding percentage of .988.

He batted .338 with 27 hits, 25 RBI and 13 runs scored as one of two players to have played all 29 games this season.

“I’ve been playing baseball since I was 4 years old,” Braden said. “As soon as I picked up a ball I fell in love. Following in both my grandpa and great grandpa’s footsteps, both went to college to play baseball and both were catchers.

“Now that I have achieved one of my long-time goals and dreams of playing baseball in college, it’s time to put in the work and hopefully fulfill my childhood dream of playing in the MLB. I want to thank my family, friends, coaches for pushing me into the player I am today. And I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity.”
