Richard “Dick” Cook, 87, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 3.
Born in South Dakota, he grew up during the Depression and joined the Army shortly after World War II where he was a paratrooper.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rheta.
He is survived by his wife Janie; sons Dan, Tony and Marty and their families; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood.
