He was preceded in death by his son Manuel F. Grijalva Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary R. Grijalva; son Ricardo L. Grijalva of Cottonwood; daughters Mary Lou Grijalva of Mesa and Frances Grijalva [Jose] Sepulveda of Cottonwood; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
