The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office answered fewer calls overall in June compared with the previous June, according to numbers released last week by the Town of Camp Verde.
Deputies responded to 1,096 calls for the month, down from more than 1,200 in June 2014.
The number of traffic stops remained fairly static, with 190 recorded for the month.
There was one reported vehicle burglary, down from four over the same period last year.
Three home burglaries were reported, also a decrease from the seven reported the previous June.
There were 10 reported cases of criminal damage, down from 18.
There was an increase in reported incidents of domestic violence, with 14 calls made, up from the 10 reported in June 2014.
The marshal’s office also released crime rate statistics for July, which was slightly busier than July 2014 in terms of total call volume with 1,223 calls reported.
Traffic stops for July were down significantly compared with the previous July, 126 compared with 186.
There were 16 reported incidents of domestic violence, down from 20 in July 2014.
