The Clarkdale Community Services Department sent out a survey last year to see what town services were being used by residents.

The town council reviewed the results at its Feb. 24 meeting.

The survey looked at what people use and what they’d like to see offered.

A big part of the survey focused on the local library.

The surveys were offered online, handed out in water bills and offered at the counter at the library.

The survey was answered by 452 people, nearly 11 percent of the Clarkdale population, said Janet Perry, community services director.

About 69 percent of the people who responded to the survey were 45 and older.

Based on the data, around 1,200 people visit the Clarkdale Library over the course of a year, said Dawn Norman, community services supervisors.
