Jeane Frances Flower, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 31.
She was a former Miss Redwood City beauty queen. An ardent political activist and animal rights supporter, she was a gifted singer. She performed with many big bands and was a regular on the Bay Area radio show, “Top of the Mark.” She also taught singing for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Art Flower.
She is survived by her daughters Wendy and Bonnie; and her sister Helen.
