Senior center keeps cooking

Published:

The Camp Verde Senior Center has elected a new board and members plan to do their best to keep the programs offered by the organization going strong.

The center is a popular hangout for some of Camp Verde’s older residents, who gather at the center to eat a good meal, play games and generally socialize.

The new board president, Marion Savage, said the center depends on donations and volunteers to keep its doors open.

Located at 263 Maryvale Lane, the town in recent years has put up signs to help guide people to the center, nestled away on a side street above downtown off of Head, Fourth and Seventh streets.
