Charity helps out with job search

Published:

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic charity organization that operates around the world and has been in existence for nearly two centuries.

The group has thousands of members in many countries across the planet.

In Camp Verde, the group operates out of a couple of rooms in the office of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

While not directly affiliated with the church, Conference President Donna McDonald said that the church has been more than accommodating in allowing the group to work from the location, paying for electricity and providing space.

While the church helps with electricity, the charity helps others with theirs.

Aside from helping out people with utilities and other needs, the group also provides food boxes and has items for sale in its thrift store.
