Library event seeks local authors

Published:

The Cottonwood Public Library is preparing to hold the Second Annual Author’s forum, a chance for people to meet and chat with authors from the Verde Valley and around region.

Last year, the library held its first event.

“It went pretty well,” said Krysta Dehnert, Cottonwood librarian.

Last year, the event featured 28 authors, Dehnert said, but drew even more.

“We had to turn some people away,” Dehnert said.

This year, the organizers are hoping to draw even more authors to the forum.

That’s why this time around, the event is being moved next door to the Cottonwood Recreation Center, 150 S. Sixth St.
