The Clarkdale Jerome School baseball team could use a home field advantage this weekend.

After a tough 8-7 loss Thursday, April 10, at West Sedona School, the Mingus Rams [7-3] have a rematch with the Wildcats beginning on their home field Friday, April 25, at 2:30 p.m., in the Verde Valley Conference Tournament – with the winner advancing straight to the championship game at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Clarkdale Jerome School.

“They’re looking forward to the rematch,” assistant coach Joe Link said. “They split two games during the season. It’s going to be a tough game.”
