John Edwin Tennyson, 72, of Cottonwood, died Feb. 4.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen; brother Robert; children Mark, Matthew and Alex; grandchildren Michael, Robert, Nicole and David.
He taught school in Casa Grande and Shonto Boarding School. He moved to Cottonwood in 2011.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at Verde Baptist chapel, 102 S. Willard St. in Cottonwood.
