Marathon participants run, walk and propose marriage

Published:

The Sedona Marathon went off without a hitch with big wins, new course records and even a wedding proposal.

More than 2,300 runners, ages ranging from 6 years old to 90 years old and coming from all over the world, participated in the four races on Saturday, Feb. 2, solidifying the fact that it was the largest Sedona Marathon in the event’s eight-year history.

Runners, joggers and walkers couldn’t have asked for a better day as the temperature was between 50 and 60 degrees during the races with not a cloud in the sky.
