A severe accident on State Route 89A at the top of Mingus Mountain has caused the road to be closed in both directions, according to Yavapai County Emergency Management Coordinator Nick Angiolillo.
The road is expected to reopen around 1:30 p.m., according to Angiolillo. No further information about the accident has yet been released.
