Mingus Union High School’s swimming and diving team hosted a larger Prescott High School team for a dual meet on Thursday, Oct. 5.
The Marauders girls proved to have much more depth, winning 94 to 68, and the boys won some key matchups against the Badgers’ faster swimmers to win 91 to 87 for a combined win of 185 to 155.

A lack of consistency in all facets of the game saw Camp Verde High School’s volleyball team to a 0-3 defeat [11-25, 16-25, 8-25] at home in a nonleague match to 3A Chino Valley High School on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The Cowboys [1-7, 1-1 Central Region] showed flashes of continuity in attack and defense. But they also allowed lopsided scoring runs to the Cougars.
