Evans is originally from Cardiff, Wales, in the United Kingdom. Evans works with an organization called Challenger Sports, a group that sets up soccer camps across the United States and Canada.

Evans was hanging out in uniform, taking a break from the heat in the shade of the ramada at Butler Park in Camp Verde Thursday, June 5, while a few young boys lounged on a picnic table.
