For years, the South By Southwest music and media festivals have brought live music to Austin, Texas, and one venue in Cottonwood now wants to emulate the feel of the classic event. The band Aloha Radio will perform at Main Stage in Cottonwood on Friday, March 14, as part of the SxSMain Festival. The weeklong event is stylized on the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.

Main Stage will be holding its inaugural SxSMain festival, a 4-night event beginning the first weekend in March and featuring touring acts from Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Diego and more.

Brandon Decker, Main Stage’s booking manager, said that he got the idea from traveling with his own band to the Austin-based festival.
