Yavapai College is reorganizing its presence in the Verde Valley as part of a 10-year plan approved by the college’s board of directors in December.Yavapai College discusses its 10-year plan with Camp Verde’s leaders, and Town Councilwoman Carol German was among them. German was involved with the college when classes were taught in Camp Verde. The college used Town Hall as its campus.

Bob Oliphant, a board member who resigned earlier this year in part over disagreement with the plan, explained how the plan will work to the Camp Verde Town Council at its March 19 meeting.

Oliphant said that the plan involves $103.8 million in capital expenditures, most of which will be spent on the Prescott and Prescott Valley side of the mountain.
