The town of Clarkdale is now accepting nominees for its Spirit of Clarkdale awards.Inside the museum, exhibits document everything copper has been used for as well as its historical significance and chemical properties. Copper has been used for cookware, tools, architectural embellishment, artistic creations, diving helmets and jewelry, however, 65 percent of it is used in electrical wiring, due to its high conductivity.

Typically, the winners are chosen each year in a variety of different categories.
