Camp Verde has been working for years to build a new modern library.Dianna Manasse, youth services librarian at Camp Verde Public Library, speaks about the new library building at the Town Council meeting on June 11. Manasse is in favor of the original two-story design for the building, while many others in town feel it is not in the budget, referring to it as a “Taj Mahal.”

The Town Council is considering different options to get the project completed in the face of the reality of available funding for the project.

They set up shop in The Salt Mine Cellar on Finnie Flat Road that had recently shut down, and have been open since mid-April, with traffic into the store picking up steadily.
