The Town of Camp Verde is once more attempting to move forward with construction of a new library.Camp Verde Town Manager Russ Martin, fourth from left, addresses the Town Council and the audience on the issue of the new library project. The new library hit several road bumps, mainly due to cost and budget concerns.

The Camp Verde Town Council looked at options for the new library, including financing, at its Aug. 27 meeting.

Richard Martin doesn’t really miss Ohio all that much.Richard Martin says he is trying to provide good food and an old-fashioned place for people to hang out and maybe play checkers in his shop on Main Street.

He’s still got family there but he has no problem trading in those winters for the ones in Arizona, where he’s lived the last 15 years.
