Robert Mason Jourdan, 89, a longtime resident of Cottonwood, died Sept. 1, in Oakland, Calif.
He was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his son Roberto Jourdan of Seattle, Wash.; daughter Virginia Jourdan of Richmond, Calif.; Raven Record and Nancy Record; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At his request, his ashes will be scattered in the San Francisco Bay Area at a boat service Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m.
