Babetta Jo Bowman, 87, of Camp Verde, died April 26.

She was preceded in death by her spouse John T. Bowman, and sons Douglas W. Bowman and Glenn I. Bowman.
She is survived by her son, Guy [Karen] Parker of Joseph City; daughters Stephanie Jo Bowman of Camp Verde and Cristy [Brent] Newcomb of Tucson; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial/celebration will take place Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m. at the Bowman residence in Camp Verde.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties.
